HID VertX V300 Output Control Interface

HID VertX V300 (P/N 70300) - Output Control Interface for V1000 / EVO V1000

HID VertX V300 Output Control Interface module with 12 Form-C relay outputs

The HID VertX V300 Output Control Interface connects 12 latching Form-C relays, allowing up to 12 devices to be controlled by simple contact closures - logic inputs for process equipment, HVAC and elevator control panels, CCTV switchers and similar systems. Loads exceeding 2 A at 30 V DC should be controlled via interposing relays.

The V300 features on-board flash memory, allowing program updates to be downloaded via the network. It connects to the V1000 through a high-speed RS-485 network. The V1000 communicates with the system host via industry-standard TCP/IP over 10/100 Mbps Ethernet or the Internet. This architecture minimises the impact on corporate LANs by using only one TCP/IP address for every 32 interfaces and by handling low-level transactions on the RS-485 network.

Cybernetics Software, an HID NAS Partner based in Pune, supplies the VertX V300 across India.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the HID VertX V300 used for?
Providing 12 Form-C relay outputs (P/N 70300) for the VertX V1000 / EVO V1000 controller, driving HVAC, elevators, CCTV switchers and other equipment via contact closure.
How many devices can it control?
Up to 12 devices. Use interposing relays for loads exceeding 2 A at 30 V DC.
How does it connect to the system?
RS-485 to the V1000, which in turn uses TCP/IP to the host - one IP address per 32 V-series interfaces.
Can firmware be updated?
Yes - on-board flash memory accepts program updates over the network.
What power supply is needed?
9 to 18 V DC at 100 mA.
Where can I buy it in India?
Cybernetics Software Pvt. Ltd., Pune (HID NAS Partner), supplies it across India including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata.
