There might be instances where the Attendance Machines (having RS232C or RS485 Communication Port) are required to be  connected to an  existing Ethernet LAN on TCP/IP protocol. In this case CONCON TCP/IP is needed. COMCON TCP/IP is RS232C to Ethernet converter and can be used to connect one or bank of Gateway2000 terminals (connected on a RS485 bus) on TCP/IP plant wide Ethernet network. Attendance PC is also connected on the same LAN network.   In this case COMPRO 2000 has the facility of downloading the data from the Attendance Readers connected to the LAN.

This has WAN compatibility & the IP Address, Gateway & the Subnet Mask can be configured as per your network requirement. In this case you need a Static IP. It can also be used for VPN networks.

It is powered by a 9-12V adapter. There is a RJ45 connector for LAN & Screw Termination for RS232C/RS485.Speed Supported is 10 MBPS or 100 MBPS
