HID VertX EVO™ V1000

HID Controller : HID VertX V1000 Master Networked Controller

HID VertX EVO V1000

HID VertX EVO V1000 is a Networked access hid controller with a multi-door access control system. It reduces the burden on corporate Local Area Networks (LANs) by connecting up to 32 door controllers using only one IP address. The high performance platform increases door uptime while the master controller minimizes corporate LAN overhead by providing biometric access control decisions for up to 64 readers.

HID VertX EVO V1000 makes all online door decisions, input monitoring and output control for all connected interface modules, including HID VertX® V100(door interface), V200(input monitor) and HID V300(output control). The HID VertX EVO V1000 has two on-board inputs and outputs for local input point monitoring and auxiliary output control, and is powered by a local power supply (12 or 24 VDC).

Key Benefits :
  • Provides a complete and fully functional hardware/firmware infrastructure for access control software host systems.
  • Enables the replacement of head end software without visiting the access control panel, reducing change-out costs.
  • Stores a complete access control and configuration database for upto 2 Reader interfaces (up to 2 doors) and 250,000 card holders
  • Connects to the host and other devices on a TCP/IP network.
  • Receives and processes real-time commands from the host software application.
  • Reports all activity to the host; reports supervised inputs/alarms with 255 priorities.
  • Provides fully functional offline operation when not actively communicating with the host access control software application, performing all access decisions and event logging.
  • Access Control System interfaces with combinations of devices with a maximum of 32.
    Devices are
    • HID VertX V100 - Door/Reader interface (up to 2 doors/1 reader or 1 door/2 readers
    • HID VertX V200 - Input monitor interface (up to 16 monitor points per device)
    • HID VertX V300 - Output control interface (up to 12 control relays per device)

Frequently Asked Questions – HID VertX EVO V1000

What is the HID VertX EVO V1000?

HID VertX EVO V1000 is a master networked access controller that connects up to 32 interface modules (64 readers) using a single IP address, minimising LAN overhead. It stores up to 250,000 card holders and 99,999 events, handles access decisions for all connected modules, and communicates via TCP/IP 10/100 Mbps Ethernet.

How many cardholders can VertX EVO V1000 manage?

VertX EVO V1000 stores up to 250,000 card holders in its standard memory configuration, a significant upgrade from the original VertX V1000 which stored 44,000.

What modules does VertX EVO V1000 connect to?

VertX EVO V1000 connects up to 32 interface devices via RS-485, including HID VertX V100 (door/reader interface for up to 2 doors), V200 (input monitor for 16 alarm inputs), and V300 (output control for 12 relay outputs).

Does VertX EVO V1000 work offline?

Yes. VertX EVO V1000 provides fully functional offline operation when not communicating with the host software — making all access control decisions and event logging independently until the connection is restored.
